Politeknik Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club Decree

The members of Politeknik Kota Kinabalu Toastmasters Club, hereby also agree to subscribe to the following for mutual benefits:

1.To be pro-active. We volunteer our contributions and we do not belittle others’ contributions.

2.To look for solutions to problems. We do not look for or create problems. We also prevent
issues from becoming problems. We see solutions for every problem identified.

3.To make things happen. We do not wait for things to happen.

4.To contribute to the advancement and success of the club, each according to his strengths,
skills and abilities. We believe that every member is capable of contributing towards the
betterment of the club.

5.To provide opportunities for every member to acquire the speaking skill through real-life use
of the language. We are of the opinion that every member has the potential to improve.

6.To help every member to improve his oral skills according to his own levels, irrespective of
his current level of language attainment.

7. To support every member in his endeavour to become a world class Distinguished
Toastmasters. We believe that everyone has the potential to achieve that status.

8.To become a group to be reckoned with in Politeknik Kota Kinabalu, in Area K7 and at the
international level.
